‘7 Dogs’: Salman Khan-Sanjay Dutt starrer global actioner gets India release date; trailer unveiled

The upcoming action thriller, 7 Dogs, which features Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt in cameos, will be released in India in Hindi and English on August 21, the makers announced recently. Its trailer was unveiled on Thursday (August 13, 2026).

The Saudi Arabian action film also stars Egyptian superstars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz along with Monica Bellucci and Giancarlo Esposito.

The action-packed trailer gives a glimpse into the high-octane world of the film which centers around Karim and Ahmed, who form an unlikely buddy-cop partnership to take on an international network of criminals. Salman and Sanjay make goofy appearances in the thrilling trailer, as they partake in the action sequences along with Karim and Ahmed and are seen cracking jokes. Monica makes a brief appearance in the trailer as well, adding on to the mystery around her character as the film promises to take the star-power of them all to create an entertaining spectacle.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life (2020) and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024)) and written by Mohamed El-Dabbah from a story by Turki Alalshikh, 7 Dogs features stunts designed by Stephen Dunlevy, whose credits include Mad Max: Fury Road and John Wick.

The ensemble cast also features Tara Emad, Nasser Al-Qasabi and Max Huang, among others, adding on to the diversity of the cross-cultural cinematic collaboration.

7 Dogs is produced by Sela Studios with the support of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and Riyadh Season. It was released in the Middle East on May 27 earlier this year following its premiere in Cairo on May 22.
