All UG programmes of VVCE now NBA accredited
Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru has secured the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accreditation to all its undergraduate engineering programmes under the Tier-I accreditation framework using the new Self-Assessment Report (SAR) format.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru has secured the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accreditation to all its undergraduate engineering programmes under the Tier-I accreditation framework using the new Self-Assessment Report (SAR) format.
The accreditation covers six programmes — Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). The accreditation is valid for three years.
VVCE Principal Sadashive Gowda B said the recognition followed an NBA expert team’s visit to the college from June 5 to 7 this year. “The accreditation was a significant recognition of the institution’s sustained efforts to strengthen academic standards, outcome-based education and quality improvement,” he said.
The institution said the NBA recognition would also encourage it to further enhance teaching-learning practices, academic outcomes and industry-relevant engineering education, a press release said.
“With all its undergraduate engineering programmes now NBA-accredited, VVCE has added another milestone to its journey of providing quality technical education and preparing students to meet the demands of the engineering profession,” the release added.
Management of VVCE congratulated the staff and students on the NBA recognition.
