Asutosh Biswas has assumed charge as the Head of Project at NTPC Kayamkulam in Keralam.
Mr. Biswas, who has over three decades of experience in the power sector, was previously Chief General Manager (Operation and Maintenance) at NTPC Unchahar in Uttar Pradesh. He has held several key positions at NTPC power stations, including General Manager (Operation) at NTPC Bongaigaon in Assam, and has been associated with operations and project management at NTPC Kahalgaon in Bihar and NTPC Singrauli in Uttar Pradesh.
He holds a Master of Engineering in Power Systems from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.
Mr. Biswas joined NTPC as an executive trainee in March 1993 and has since worked in operation and maintenance, commissioning and clean energy initiatives.
