Harikatha artistes seek government support to promote their art and engage youth in major temple programs.

Adibhatla Foundation president Adibhatla Ananda Narayanadas on Monday urged the State government to encourage Harikatha artistes and arrange their programmes in major temples on auspicious occasions. Harikatha Pithamaha A. Narayanadasu‘s 162nd birth anniversary was celebrated in Vizianagaram.
Mr. Ananda felicitated and recalled their contribution for protecting Harikatha art. He said many youngsters were keen to learn the art under the guidance of senior artistes, who needed the financial support from the government.
