Deputy Commissioner Rahul Pandve has directed officials to strictly enforce Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) guidelines to ensure the transparent and smooth conduct of direct recruitment examinations scheduled from October 24 to 27 across the district.

Chairing a preparatory meeting at the Yadgir Zilla Panchayat hall here, Mr. Pandve instructed invigilators, chief superintendents, and custodians to strictly maintain secrecy and punctuality while handling examination materials. He mandated that seating arrangements be properly organised and that all CCTV cameras at the centres remain fully functional.

According to the schedule, 2,561 candidates would appear for the Land Surveyor examination across six centres on October 24 (3 p.m. to 5 p.m.). The Village Administrative Officer examination on October 25 would see 9,626 candidates across 25 centres in two sessions (10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.). Examinations for Nursing and Pharmacy Officers (1,218 candidates) would be held on October 26 across three centres, while the examination for Residential School Teachers and Second Division Assistants (535 candidates) would take place on October 27 at a single centre.

Prohibitory orders within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres would be in force. Superintendent of Police Pruthvik Shankar stated that adequate security forces would be deployed around the venues.
