In a major push toward responsive governance, Raichur Rural MLA Basanagowda Daddal inaugurated the Praja Seva Abhiyan initiative at Gillesugur village in Raichur district, bringing top officials from various taluk-level departments directly to the public to address grievances on the spot.
Thousands of residents from Gillesugur and surrounding villages attended the drive, submitting petitions and highlighting key local issues directly to administrative heads.
Officials representing Revenue, Rural Development, Health, Women and Child Development, and Social Welfare departments gathered under one roof to review grievances and resolve maximum issues on the spot.
For grievances requiring further processing, Mr. Daddal instructed officials o take immediate action and ensure time-bound resolution.
The core aim of Praja Seva Abhiyan is to prevent citizens from repeatedly making approaches to government offices by bringing the administration directly to their doorsteps, he said.
“Our priority goes beyond merely listening to public grievances. We are committed to delivering immediate solution. Bringing administration directly to the people and offering swift relief is the founding pledge of the Praja Seva Abhiyan,” Mr. Daddal said.
The legislator expressed his gratitude to the citizens who participated and urged officials to maintain the same momentum in resolving all remaining public concerns.
