Around 300-350 bookings are carried out every day by travellers on the Kempegowda International Airport’s (KIA) Care by BLR, a personalised passenger service brand which offers a suite of premium services to the traveller.

Care by BLR which offers seamless, convenient and tailored services like meet and assist, porter and luggage service, valet parking, luxury limousine, arrival lounge access and flower services to meet individual traveller needs was launched at KIA in January 2026.

“Overall if you look at meet and assist, porter and flower services, we have about 300 to 350 transactions everyday,” said George Bennet Kuruvilla, Executive Director and CEO, Bengaluru Airport Services Limited (BASL).

Operating across the airport’s Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, the services function round-the-clock in alignment with flight schedules and can be booked via the BLR Pulse app, the official BLR Airport website and airport counters, with advance bookings recommended and walk-in availability subject to operational feasibility.

“Across the globe, an airport is judged on efficiency. At KIA, we also want the airport to be judged based on empathy. Along with several other initiatives which we have, we have put together this service (Care by BLR) with a slight premiumisation. Care by BLR is a 360 degrees approach to assist every passenger from the kerbside to the gate and the gate to the kerbside,” said George Bennet Kuruvilla, Executive Director and CEO, BASL.

“The limousine service starts from ₹4,500 depending on the car, distance and duration of travel. We have vehicles starting from BMW 3 series and upward to Rolls Roycle for which the fares start from ₹50,000 onwards,” Mr. Kuruvilla said.

There are also airside limousine facilitation services which enable premium, coordinated movement between aircraft and terminal areas designed for VIP, VVIP, business, celebrity and special-assistance journeys, subject to operational and security requirements.

BASL officials say Care by BLR is currently offering 10 services and that it plans to extend it in the future.
