‘Prem Keetanu’: Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana to star in upcoming comedy-drama

Actors Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana are set to star in an upcoming comedy-drama, Prem Keetanu, the makers announced on Wednesday (August 12, 2026). The film is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, known for Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, and also stars Aafiya Sayed, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in pivotal roles.

The makers have described the film as “a heartwarming and relatable entertainer, exploring the aspirations, relationships and everyday struggles of young Indians.”

Produced by Gaurav Verma, the film will be released in theatres on October 2. More details from it are awaited.

Veer made his feature film debut with Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, in which he played Indian Air Force officer T. Vijaya. He also has the action-thriller, Naam – To Live Is War in the pipeline, which is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay.

Aparshakti was last seen in Saurabh Shukla’s Jab Khuli Kitaab, which was released on ZEE5 earlier this year. He will also be seen in Badtameez Gill, which still awaits release.
