‘Premalu’, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ makers announce next film titled ‘Picnic’

Directed by debutant Kiran Josey, the film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran

After the success of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit (BKU), the makers of the film announced their next titled Picnic. Directed by debutant Kiran Josey, known for co-writing Premalu and BKU, the film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran.

A first look poster was unveiled to make the announcement which shows a happy family sharing a candid moment in a charming place. More details about the plot are awaited.

The film stars Sandeep Pradeep, Indrajith Sukumaran, Dileesh Pothan, Sujin Sreedharan, Akshatha Ajith, Reshma Jose, Mary, Vijay Muthu, Pranav Prabhu, Uthara Ganga, Jimmy Dani, Arshad Ali, Nandu KU, Ajastas AJ, Arun Veyiler, among others.

It features music by Govind Vasantha and lyrics by Suhail Koya while it is shot by Adarsh Sadanandan and edited by Sanath Sivaraj.

BKU, the romantic comedy starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has crossed Rs 300 crores at the box office as it emerged as the highest grossing Malayalam film of all time. It is directed by Girish A.D. and was released in theatres on August 21 last month.
