Actor Sunny Deol will be seen next in the crime-thriller, Suryaa, the makers announced on Monday (October 12, 2026) by unveiling the first look. The film will be released in theatres on November 20.
The first look poster features Sunny smoking a cigarette, with his neck bent down. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote in caption, “Torn between Past and Present, He uncovers the TRUTH! Presenting SURYAA. IN CINEMAS 20th November 2026.”
As per a press release, “The story follows a man drawn into a web of unanswered questions and buried truths. What begins as an investigation soon takes him into territory far more complex than he anticipated, setting the stage for a gripping crime drama driven by mystery, emotion and confrontation.”
Producer Kamal Mukut shared in a statement that he had signed Sunny for two films, Gadar 2 and Suryaa and that after the success of the former, the work on this one began. “Suryaa takes the audience through a never-before-seen avatar of Sunny Deol, interestingly woven across three phases of his life journey. This gripping thriller is designed to transport audiences into two different eras,” he added.
Helmed by M. Padmakumar, known for directing Malayalam films like Joseph (2018), Kanal (2015) and the recent Uyir(2026), the film also stars Ravi Kishan and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles.
Suryaa is produced by MM Moviez, with Deepak Mukut, Hemmant Mukut and Lokesh Mukut as producers, alongside Kamal Mukut.
