The makers of Tamil star Suriya’s upcoming film, Scene, unveiled a special character-introduction promo for Malayalam star Naslen on Thursday (October 23). Directed by Aavesham-maker Jithu Madhavan, the film, which marks Naslen’s Tamil debut, is set to release in theatres on November 6 during Deepavali.

In the promo, Naslen is introduced as Eeswaran, whom Suriya’s cop calls an “inhuman predator.” The chilling promo hints at Naslen playing a devilish serial killer who lures and kills young women. The promo has further amped up the expectations for Scene.

The cast of Scene also includes Nazriya Nazim, John Vijay and Anandraj. Popular YouTuber Rajpriyan is also playing a role in the film. Details regarding the plot remain unknown.

Jithu’s frequent collaborator, Sushin Shyam, is composing the music for Scene. Vineeth Augustian is the cinematographer, Ashwini Kale is the production designer, and Ajmal Sabu is the editor. Chethan D’Souza, whose Jailer 2 is breaking box-office records, serves as the stunt choreographer. Suriya and Jyotika produce Scene under their Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment banners.

Naslen was last seen in Abhinav Sunder Nayak’s dark comedy Mollywood Times. Up next, the actor will also be seen in Kumbalangi Nights director Madhu C. Narayanan’s upcoming film; Amal Neerad’s Bachelor Party D’EUX; Tiki Taka, co-starring Asif Ali; and Khalid Rahman’s Mattancherry Mafia, among other films in the pipeline.
