The monsoon session of the Telangana Assembly will resume on Wednesday (September 16, 2016), after being adjourned for three days from Sunday (September 13, 2016). The short discussion on the prohibited properties under Section 22A of the Registration Act will continue.

On Saturday (September 12, 2016), Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy spoke at length about the properties under Section 22A.
A short discussion on the effects of El Niño and remedial measures too is scheduled for today.
The subjects on which questions may be asked in the House include career guidance cells for minority students, improvement of public transport in the CURE region and expansion of horticulture crops in the State.
Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari urged for a palm oil refinery in erstwhile Warangal district.
MLAs speak about issues in oil palm cultivation and processing harvest in various districts. The trees touching overhead high-tension electric wires, issues faced by farmers due to lack refineries in a few districts were raised in the Assembly.
