Updated - October 24, 2026 01:08 am IST - HYDERABAD

Three persons were arrested by the Amberpet police for allegedly stealing two-wheelers in the area, following an investigation into the theft of a motorcycle earlier this month.

The accused were identified as Sai Kiran, 32, a resident of Patel Nagar in Amberpet, Aravind Prasad, 42, of Amberpet, and S. Murali, 53, a resident of Rajendra Nagar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

According to the police, the complainant had parked his Pulsar motorcycle outside his residence at New Patel Nagar in Amberpet on October 12. The vehicle was subsequently found missing, following which he approached the Amberpet police.

Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and launched an investigation. During the inquiry, investigators examined technical evidence, conducted field inquiries and identified the suspects.

The police said the accused were allegedly involved in stealing two-wheelers parked in public places and residential parking areas. Investigators also linked the suspects to another motorcycle theft reported under the Uppal police station limits. The stolen vehicles included a Pulsar motorcycle and an Activa scooter.
