Two loco pilots injured in separate stone-pelting incidents near Tuni and Samalkot railway stations, with suspects in custody.

Two loco pilots suffered minor injuries in separate stone pelting incidents under Tuni and Samalkot railway stations limits on Sunday (October 11, 2026).
An unidentified person allegedly hurled stone on Mahabubnagar-Visakhapatnam Express train, near Tuni railway station around 4.50 a.m. on Sunday. The stone broke the wind shield and hit loco pilot Bhima Sur.
In another incident, loco pilot K.G. Eshwar Rao suffered injuries when an unidentified person hurled stones on a goods train near Samalkot, around 1.30 a.m. The loco pilot suffered head injury, and the suspect was reportedly taken into custody.
The railway officers gave first aid to the injured loco pilots, the South Coast Railway (SCoR) officials said.
