He announced that a University of Architecture and Civil Engineering would be opened within the MIT campus in Muzaffarpur. Mr. Choudhary said that this university would emerge as a centre of excellence for technical education, research, and innovation, providing new opportunities for quality technical education to the youth of Bihar.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is operating on a ‘zero-tolerance’ policy on corruption and cybercrime.
“Approximately 5 lakh applications have been resolved so far through ‘Sahyog Shivirs’ (assistance camps), ensuring the prompt resolution of issues faced by the people. The applicants who are still not satisfied with their issues can visit the Chief Minister’s secretariat in Patna on the second Tuesday of the month,” Mr. Choudhary said.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the state government was effectively implementing numerous schemes for the economic empowerment of women. He added that Bihar’s economy is being strengthened by promoting women’s entrepreneurship.
“Funds have already been transferred to the accounts of 1.81 crore ‘Jeevika Didis’ to enable them to start their own livelihoods. Funds will be transferred to the accounts of the remaining Jeevika Didis to mark the completion of 100 days of our government,” Mr. Choudhary said.
