On Thursday (July 30), Sun Pictures unveiled the trailer for DC, the upcoming Tamil action film directed by Arun Matheswaran. Starring Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead, the film features acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj in his debut as a lead actor.
The 150-second trailer, set to a high-tempo Carnatic score by Anirudh Ravichander, reveals little about the film's plot. Lokesh appears as Devadas, a mean-looking brute who wreaks havoc on his enemies, especially corrupt cops. Wamiqa appears as Chandra, a woman who seems to be on a quest for revenge. Meanwhile, we also see glimpses of Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, who plays Devadas’ love interest in the film. The trailer of DC promises an intense, gory, violence-heavy drama in quintessential Arun Matheswaran fashion.
Notably, Anirudh Ravichander recently unveiled the film’s album, which has been garnering a lot of praise from the audience. DC has cinematography by Mukesh G and editing by GK Prasanna.
