Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 strikes State of Uttarakhand in India, EMSC says
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand at 10 km depth, with tremors felt in New Delhi, per EMSC.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand onTuesday (October 6, 2026), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), EMSC said.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in New Delhi.
