‘Love of Your Life’ trailer: Love transforms Margaret Qualley in Rachel Morrison’s vivid romance

The first trailer of Margaret Qualley’s upcoming romantic-drama, Love of Your Life, was unveiled by the makers on Thursday (September 10, 2026). Co-produced by Ryan Gosling, directed by Rachel Morrison, the film also stars Gabriel Basso, Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tamara Lawrence and Corey Johnson in pivotal roles.
The trailer gives a glimpse into the film where Qualley’s character, Maya falls in love with Charlie (Gabriel), who sends her to Boston after their relationship comes to an end. Maya becomes a nomad in Portugal and meets Felix (Aaron), who makes her believe in love again as Maya finds it difficult to develop feelings. “I know he was the love of your life. But who’s to say you can only have one?” he asks her at one point. The film promises to be a sweeping romance, told from the perspective of Maya.
Love of Your Life marks Rachel’s second directorial after The Fire Inside. She is an acclaimed cinematographer, known for working on films like Mudbound, Black Panther and Seberg, among others.
Love of Your Life is written by Julia Cox and will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). It will be released in select theatres on October 7 followed by a global streaming release on October 14.
