Services from Kochi airport to grow by 14.40% during winter schedule

Air India Express will launch four weekly services to Bangkok under the winter schedule of Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), further strengthening Kochi’s connectivity with Southeast Asia.
Other additions to the international network include IndiGo’s daily service to Fujairah and Akasa Air’s daily operations to Dubai, Dammam, and Kuwait. IndiGo will introduce daily domestic flights to Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
The winter schedule, effective from October 26, 2026, to March 28, 2027, will feature 1,766 weekly flight movements, marking a 14.40% increase from the 1,544 services operated during the summer schedule. Around 252 flights will be operated daily. Kochi will be connected to 32 destinations, including 13 domestic and 19 international airports.
“We have already devised plans to further enhance passenger experience, including home baggage collection and improved facilities for passengers requiring special assistance,” said CIAL managing director S. Suhas.
During the winter season, Kochi will be connected to 13 Gulf destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Riyadh, Muscat, Sharjah, Jeddah, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Salalah, accounting for 327 weekly arrivals. Bengaluru and Mumbai will top the list of frequent operations in the domestic sector, while in the international sector most frequent services will be to Abu Dhabi.
