A bright and sunny day gave way to dark skies and rain in several parts of Hyderabad on Wednesday (August 5, 2026), as clouds gathered during the afternoon following a largely clear start to the day.
After 3 p.m., rain was reported from several areas, including Nacharam, Mallapur, ECIL and A.S. Rao Nagar, among other parts of the city.
According to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), as of 4 p.m., Chintal recorded 9.8 mm rainfall followed by 9.3 mm in Allwyn Colony, 8.5 mm in Anandbagh, 7.8 mm in Malkajgiri, 7 mm in Nacharam, 6.8 mm in Ghatkesar, 6.5 mm in Tarnaka and 6.3 mm in Uppal.
