Two rowdy-sheeters were arrested after two policemen were injured in a group clash at Murdeshwar in Uttar Kannada on Saturday (August 8) night.

Officers arrested repeat offenders Raju and Manoj on Sunday (August 9). The two were fighting with each other and were then joined by their followers. When the brawl started getting serious, some residents called the police. Two police constables rushed to the spot and tried to stop the fight. However, some members of the gangs stabbed the officers and ran away.

The constables were taken to the hospital, and doctors confirmed to senior officers that they were out of danger. A team has been formed to arrest the other gang members.

A case has been registered against Ritik, Madan, Yogesh, Darshan and others.
