AK 64 is Dare Devil! After months of uncertainty, it was announced today (August 3) that Tamil star Ajith Kumar is once again teaming up with Good Bad Ugly-maker Adhik Ravichandran for his 64th movie. Titled Dare Devil, the upcoming film will mark Ajith’s wife and former actor Shalini Ajith Kumar’s maiden production venture.
Ajith’s manager and acclaimed Tamil cinema PRO Suresh Chandraa announced the news on his X handle.

Notably, the film has popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander returning to score music for an Ajith film after Vidaamuyarchi. The upcoming project marks the composer’s fourth collaboration with Ajith.
Other details regarding the film’s cast and plot remain unknown. Dare Devil will have cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The film is produced by Shalini under her Brave Hearts Production banner.
Ajith’s last film was Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik. The film, which was released in theatres on April 10, 2025, told the story of a retired gangster forced to take up arms one last time to save his son. The Hindu’s review called Good Bad Ugly possibly “the best fan service Tamil cinema has ever seen.”
