The trailer of Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam The Conclusion was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday (September 9, 2026). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant in pivotal roles.

The trailer opens with a conversation between Tabu and Saurabh Shukla’s characters where she asks him about the next steps that Vijay (Ajay Devgn) will take. “Only Vijay and God knows what Vijay will do,” he replies. There are glimpses from the first part where Vijay’s family is seen erasing evidence of the murder. The character of Prakash Raj vows not to take Vijay lightly.

Jaideep Ahlawat is introduced as the SP of Crime Branch, Rajveer Singh Tomar, who is called to investigate the crime. The two have have dramatic confrontations as Vijay promises to protect his family against the threats of everyone. The film promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the mystery around the crime initiated by Vijay’s family.

The film is written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. It is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and will be released in theatres on October 2.

Released in 2015, Drishyam, a remake of the Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film, told the story of an ordinary man, Vijay Salgaonkar, who gets embroiled in a murder investigation along with his family. A sequel, Drishyam 2, set seven years after the events of the first film, was released in 2022. The first part was directed by Nishikant Kamat, whose death in 2020 led to the takeover by Abhishek Pathak on the second and third part.

The third part of the original Malayalam film, Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, was released earlier this year in May.
