Eight years after the blockbuster Telugu buddy comedy Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, the team returns with the sequel, ENE Repeat or Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat. Written and directed by Tharun Bhascker and starring Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatham, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Srinath Maganti and others, the film is scheduled to release on November 19. Unveiling the trailer in Hyderabad, the director exuded confidence about the film’s reception.

Produced by Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagi Reddy, the sequel picks up the story where the first part ended.

While the first film showed the group of friends heading to Goa to participate in a short film contest, the sequel has Vivek (Vishwak), along with his gang of friends, setting out to make a wild survival film. During this journey, the gang encounters a series of unexpected events. Chaos and entertainment ensue.

Vishwak Sen returns as Vivek, Abhinav Gomatham as Kaushik, Venkatesh Kakumanu as Uppu, and Srinath Maganti as Karthik. Apart from Anisha Ambrose, who reprises her character from the first film, Shivatmika Rajasekhar and Priyadarshini Ram are new additions to the group. ENE Repeat will have cinematography by AJ Aaron and music by Vivek Sagar.

Speaking during the trailer launch, Tharun Bhascker recollected the making of ENE. “After Pelli Choopulu, I was wondering what film to make next. I thought it would be good to make a film about friendship, since I had four close friends.” He admitted that after the massive success of ENE, he was initially nervous about the audience’s expectations.
