Jason Sudeikis returns as the voice of Red, who must balance raising a family with protecting Bird Island from a new threat. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 23, 2026.
The trailer finds Red and Silver (Rachel Bloom) adjusting to life as parents of three children. With Red hoping to settle into family life after saving the island twice, his plans are disrupted when a new danger threatens their home. He is forced to reunite with Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb (Danny McBride) for another mission, this time with his family joining the fight.
The voice cast also includes Emma Myers, Walker Scobell, Marcello Hernández, Tim Robinson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, Sam Richardson, James Austin Johnson, Lily James and Keke Palmer. MrBeast, Salish Matter and Psalm West are also part of the ensemble.
The new trailer features “Sun Showers”, an original song by BLACKPINK member JISOO, who co-wrote the track. John Rice directs the film from a screenplay by Thurop Van Orman, with John Cohen, Dan Chuba, Carla Connor and Namit Malhotra serving as producers.
Based on Rovio Entertainment’s popular mobile game franchise, The Angry Birds Movie 3 follows The Angry Birds Movie (2016) and The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019). The third film is produced by Rovio Entertainment and SEGA in partnership with Prime Focus Studios and other production partners, with DNEG Animation handling the animation.
